Wilson is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
House doesn’t expect this the first time he meets him, but now it’s part of his routine. If anyone ever heard him call James “nicest doctor you’ll ever meet” Wilson a manipulative bastard, no one would believe it.
Wilson runs circles around him, plays mind games, makes him second-guess himself. It’s almost attractive, how he knows House’s thought patterns like they’re his own. It’s attractive on its own right to see Wilson’s smug smile when House falls straight into one of his psychological traps.
He’s a bit in love with it, that’s all.
