Maybe, Metatron mused, he'd been naive to think that the sort of humans who could adapt to survive a situation like this were the type to accept any kind of imprisonment. Loki, meanwhile, just smirked at the proof of his legacy; that, whatever you gave them, humans would find the loophole, the way to permanently break it, to go too far. Lucifer, meanwhile, waited to see what happened.
