Watson grinned. “Worth an ache or two to show the lads I’m not a relic. But you’re right.” He rolled the shoulder and winced. “Pity. This is the good one, the one the jezail bullet didn’t shatter.”
Holmes glanced at the weather station. “Doesn’t help that yesterday was a cold, wet November day in the middle of May. Will you let me see it to it?”
“Very well.”
