Title: Then Do I Quiver
Fandom: Lewis
Rating: G
Notes: James Hathaway/Robert Lewis. Title from Albert Pike's "Lightning."

It rains all the time, of course. Oxford is not immune to dismal damp. A proper thunderstorm seems rare, though, and as a crack of lightning illuminates the sky, James cups a hand around his cigarette and continues to get thoroughly soaked.

"Come inside, you daft fool," Robbie says gently. He's sleep tousled and irresistible, so James does as he's told. Robbie has a towel at the ready, and he dries James' hair, pats James' skin dry as he peels him out of sodden clothes.

It's 4 AM, and Robbie will warm him inside and out. Worth a good soaking.

Title: It Was a Dark and Stormy Night
Fandom: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Rating: G
Notes: Dracula

It was a dark and stormy night. Well, when wasn’t it? It was, so to speak, his element. He wished he could share that very witty pun, but the drones he kept as help in the castle wouldn’t appreciate it. It was his power over their feeble brains that did it. They kept the flies down and the coffins tidy but it didn’t make them good conversationalists.

He was just back from a call on the new Slayer. Horrible weather. Dry, sunny during long tedious day. But the Slayer seemed someone one could talk to. Pity it didn’t work out.
