Notes: This is the beginning of a post-Kyuranger drabble series I'm writing for my OC Amelia
It was raining in Lycia, Anaiva's capital, but that hadn't stopped half the population of the city from jamming the streets around the spaceport to welcome their hero home.
Staring out the window of the ship, Amelia fidgeted nervously, her hand clenched around the grip of her Seiza Blaster in a white-knuckle grip. "Well I guess it's time," she murmured, slinging her backpack over her shoulder and moving to step off the ship.
As she stepped onto the boarding ramp and the crowd roared, Amelia smiled to herself.
She'd promised to save the universe, and in the end, she had.
