“What are you drinking, boss?” Sebastian Moran asked.
“I fancy a Singapore Sling,” Jim Moriarty replied.
Molly snorted.
“What? It’s a classic,” Jim said.
“Yes, in the Raffles Hotel in actual Singapore,” Molly said.
“And we’re sitting in the back bar of the White Hart, where you’re lucky if the beer hasn’t been watered down, and the spirits come out of their original bottles,” Seb added.
Jim sighed. “Well, get me some burgundy instead.”
“Okay. Molls, what do you want?”
“I’ll have a gin and tonic, please,” Molly replied.
“Now that,” Seb said, “is what I call a proper classic.”
