A perpetually lucky girl am I
And I just do not know quite why
I guess the universe must like me
For reasons that I can never see
But it's a luck I'm glad to get
Something that I'll never forget
To always be so very grateful for
My luck I can't possibly ignore
And why on Earth would I want to
That'd be a foolish thing to do
I don't need a lucky rabbit's foot
Or a four-leaf clover, to boot
I don't need any kind of charms to be
The oddly lucky girl whom you here see
