"I can't believe you stole the Tivi Bird egg," the Doctor groused.
River shrugged, uncaring. "What I did wasn't so bad."
"Wasn't so bad?! That egg is sacred; and, as an archaeologist, you ought to know that," he scolded.
She smirked. "As an archaeologist, I did my research. That wasn't the true Tivi Bird egg. It was a fake."
He gaped, dumbstruck. "It was a fake?"
"An excellent one, I have to admit," River continued. "But someone who's responsible for it decided to create an elaborate deception, and secretly sell the genuine article. The Tivi race will find it eventually."
