He dreams of oceans.
He dreams of swimming deep into the sea, dreams of scales and fins where legs should be and gills in place of lungs. Everything's different but it's right.
Swim higher, swim to the surface, swim and let the sun warm skin. He's fit for land too. Fit for the sunrise and the singing in the salty air. He's made for singing, made to let his voice carry across the ocean to the ears of lonely people.
He sings and they come.
When Bucky wakes up, it's with gasps and the sound of music in his head.
