Amy turned hopefully to the Doctor. "You can fix this, yeah," she asked him.
"Sure, I can," he mumbled, though he felt anything but confident. "Just a bit of jiggery-pokery, and things'll be right as rain in a minute or two."
Her eyes narrowed in suspicion. "Why do I feel like you're lying?"
"Because I am, Pond," he sighed, shaking his head. "Times like this, I wish I could just stick a bit of tape on the situation and call it a job well done."
