Title: The Lake Gala Monster
A quick swing of Roselia's talisman, carefully purloined from Juna, and a scan with her Detector unit told Altina that the lake did, indeed, contain no Cryptid-class entities. She hadn't really thought it would - a full Cryptid would be radiating powerful energy, foreign to this dimension, enough to be able to feel it without scanning. That didn't mean there was definitely no 'Lake Gala Monster'. Most probably, this 'Gallie' was an unusually large carp, an increasingly exaggerated tale of 'the one that got away'. Complete scepticism, mused Altina, was illogical when you lived in a hidden town of witches.
