"I must admit, I was not expecting this," said the Chancellor. The girl yelled out a victory cry and fist-pumped the air.
"I told Lechter it was possible to surprise you - I TOLD him!"
"I did see you go to the Rosenberg workshop but I expected... more of a normal doll. Or a giant robot. Not... these," he indicated the row of ten dolls, modelled after and dressed like himself.
They blinked.
"So, are they for surveillance?"
"Nah, I can't stop them blinking in public. They're just new friends. Or promotional material. They're all called Ozzie, by the way."
