She'd begun seeing the ghost across the sea again. She hadn't seen Climax for a while. Maybe it was the mood in the air, or maybe Arfoire had just been thinking about her anyway. Arfoire was the only person left who could preserve her essence. Of course, she was accused of stealing it anyway.
Arfoire had been imprisoned there. Knowing the way that island worked, she probably hadn't really left, not entirely.
Climax knew even better than her how it worked and she stayed there of her own will, now. Maybe she'd made the place for this reason all along.
