Maggie was cowering on the ground; the knees pulled up to her chest.

This was the end.

She had survived so much, her mother's transformation, the loss of her home and her future. Beth's senseless death. With Glenn at her side she had been strong enough to move on.

She started to tremble when the name crossed her mind. Glenn. He was gone. And he would never come back.

This was the end. Unable to breath, to think, to move she would follow him right away.

Then she felt it: the soft movement of the baby inside her. Glenn's baby.
