A Loth-kitten:
There’s a Loth-kitten sitting on Kallus’ shoulder. Zeb stares in awe as Kallus moves around his office while not jostling the tiny ball of tri-colored fluff. Part of Zeb just wants to continue watching, but he’s not about to let their lunch get cold.
“Got a spot for our trays?” he asks, leaning in the doorway.
Kallus grins, then steps close to give him a kiss, while one hand comes up to keep the kitten steady.
“Who’s this?” Zeb asks, leaning close.
“Sabine suggested a kitten for the watchtower.”
“She’s cute.”
“She’s loud if I take her off my shoulder.”
