Jo opened the bag of doughnuts and looked inside.  “I could have sworn there were six doughnuts in here ten minutes ago,” she said.  “And now I can only see five.”

She and Ros both swung round to look at Lucas, who was licking his fingers.

“Honestly,” Ros exclaimed.  “It’s bad enough having to keep food out of the reach of your werewolf form, but do I need to lock the doughnuts in my drawer the rest of the time as well?”

Lucas gave a cheeky grin, “Well, you know what Oscar Wilds said, ‘I can resist everything except temptation.’”
