"I don't think you should go into the Pad right now," Peter said, sitting down.
Mike frowned. "Why?"
"Micky just went in, loaded down with bolts of cloth, and some patterns he copied from library books."
"He's not planning his Halloween costume, already," Davy moaned. When Peter nodded, he continued: "It's only the first of September. It's still summer! Can't the chap read a bloody calendar?"
"Well, at least he's enthusiastic," Peter gamely offered.
Mike shook his head. "Nah. There's a thin line between 'enthusiastic' and 'crazy'. And I think Micky must've crossed that line before he was even born!"
