“Who’s your companion?” Kit asks as he kneels down to pet the massiff.
Grizzer sniffs him and then bumps into Kit’s hand. Kit grins and Fox reminds himself that this thing between them is supposed to be casual. He’s not sure it’s staying that way for either of them.
“His name’s Grizzer,” Fox answers. Grizzer glances at him and then go back to getting attention from Kit. “He’s Hound’s, but Hound’s got training. We can cancel.”
“Nonsense, it’s a beautiful day. There’s a garden not far from here,” Kit grins reaching out a hand.
Fox takes it and smiles back.
