Notes: Hello, amnesty <3 Have some more obscure connections! But this question has been accompanying me for a long time, so... :) I also feel the need to note that I am quite the amateur at writing poetry, but still I'm happy with how this turned out.

In solitude but not alone,
I do nothing and do it all –
Truth or lie, what small matter;
It’s a dream, I make it so.

I make it so to calm the heart,
I make it so to pump me up,
I make it so to be what matters –
What I want, oh, what I want.

What is that? I hear you ask.
What is that? I echo back.
Evermore, an echo of an echo haunts.

My answer I begin, breeze-taken: I want–
In steps not mine I falter, – what?
Do I want? I settle, unsettled. Oh, do I want?
