Taki smiled and looked over to Goh.
"Hungry?"
"Always," Goh replied, reaching--
"For dinner," Taki said quickly. He'd worked up an appetite, at least, and had enough on him for something simple.
And the job they'd been on was finished, all except for the final payment. Criminals in the hands of the police. Drugs off the street. Two young women saved...
Yeah, they could go out for dinner. Maybe even have a drink or two.
"Yeah, dinner sounds good."
Taki already knew what would come after. They'd been busy, working, and had barely seen each other.
He was hungry, too.
