“I don’t understand, Wangji.” Xichen studied his younger brother, his twin in all but personality, with concern. “You’ve never displayed an interest in dating before.”
“Never had interest.” Wangji continued to stir the congee, adding the barest sprinkle of salt, precise down to the molecule to their uncle’s preferences. “First.”
Xichen gasped. He covered his mouth with his hands, to stifle his shock. Then he lowered them. “My Wangji has his first crush? Who is it? Who has such chemistry with my precious didi?”
“Wei Ying.”
Entering the kitchen at exactly the wrong time, their uncle heard this and fainted.
