Everyone in the building thinks she's a weird girl, the way she hangs around the back stairs. They think it's odd, how she uses her laptop like it's a Ouija board or a Tarot deck. Casting high-tech spells, and muttering odd fortunes. Yep, she's weird, alright.
But nobody ever dares to say it aloud, especially not to her face. They wouldn't even be surprised if she could read their minds. Every time someone has bad luck, they're sure that it's because the unlucky individual did something to get on the weird girl's nerves.
So they treat her with caution.
