[Amnesty: Challenge #147: Blur] Original Fiction: 'The Skeleton'
Title: 'The Skeleton'
Fandom: Original Fiction
Rating: G
As Eleni lit the candle, the blurry form at the foot of her bed became somewhat clearer. Now, in the flickering light, she found herself staring at a shadowy skeleton.
"Get lost," she yelled at it. "Go and find the rest of yourself, and let me get some sleep! Your ghostliness isn't my fault!"
The skeleton fixed her with an irritated glare that was obvious, even in the dim, and minus anything resembling actual facial features.
"Wow," it hissed at her, despite the lack of a mouth. "Rude much?"
It faded away into the night, leaving Eleni blissfully alone again.
