[Amnesty: Challenge #138: Pressure] Original Fiction: 'Gone Too Far'
Title: 'Gone Too Far'
Fandom: Original Fiction
Rating: PG (slightly disturbing imagery)
"How could a simple prank go so wrong?"
I spun on Gary furiously. "This isn't just some case of peer pressure gone too far," I growled. "Just look!"
I pointed to the old grave, though I could hardly bear to look at it, myself. We'd dared Bess to live the old urban legend, by making her stay all night in the graveyard, and to put a dagger in the nearest to prove she'd been there.
But a skeletal arm had somehow come through the earth, and gripped the dagger that was plunged into her heart.
The police wouldn't believe this.
