Catch all the stars as they each fall
Make a quick wish on one and all
Hold each star so close to you
And hope that your dreams come true
Count them all as they dash by
Shooting bright across the sky
If a wish you do not choose to make
Instead, then it's a big mistake
For the stars are there up above
To inspire all of your dreams and love
So reach out for one and each
As each star-wish comes in reach
And I think that I can truly bet
That such things you'll not regret
