No one had asked Daken if he minded a fucking corpse farm in their backyard. It wasn't the garden of dead bodies in various states of decay that bothered him. Daken had seen his share of death. Hell, he'd been the cause of more death than most.
The putrid smell was the problem. The heady stink of decay wasn't exactly cherry blossoms or fresh rain, even setting aside his enhanced sense of smell. But Prodigy could do no wrong. If David wanted to litter the lawn with dead bodies, no one dared say no. No one cared what Daken thought.
