Notes: Lex arrives just in time for a show.
Lex emerged from his car, shaking his head, chuckling, and grinning from ear to ear. He began clapping his hands loudly together, ignoring Martha's blush, Jonathan's silent thunder, and even Clark's sheepish, baffled embarrassment. "Only on the Kent farm," he declared, "could I watch such a rousing wild goose chase!"
Clark's grin won out. He still had the struggled goose in his jacket as he approached Lex. "How long did you watch?"
"Long enough to know that I know who I'm going to recommend the next time the Metropolis Zoo is looking to place an animal." Smiling, Lex kissed Clark.
