Peter eyed the young woman silently, trying to avoid too much sympathy. Some weeks ago, she had lost her husband to a brutal, senseless murder. His 11-year-old daughter the only witness. He had looked for others ways but finally had to admit that only with her help he would be able to bring the offender behind bars for the rest of his life.
„But it's my decision.“ The voice slightly shaking, but the eyes of the girl looked determined when she threw her arms around her mother. „I want to do it. For my dad!“
