“Let that be a lesson to you,” Adam said, as he finished cleaning the werewolf’s face, which had been covered in a mixture of tomato sauce, mayonnaise, and mustard, “not to go rootling around in bins.  You may find a half-eaten burger - and you needn’t look so pleased about it - but you also end up covered in sauces.”

The werewolf slunk away.

Ten minutes later, Adam looked up to see the werewolf once more looking pleased with himself, and this time with his face covered in sugar.

“Who threw half a doughnut away?” Adam said with a sigh of resignation.
