The Right Words
Title: The Right Words
Original (or) Fandom: Labyrinth
Rating: G/K
Notes: All Sarah needed was the right words.
Every morning, when Sarah first woke, she heard distinct hissing and scurrying sounds. Drawers shut as Goblins scrambled. She knew, on those first few mornings after her remarkable adventure, what the sounds were, but she could never find them in the daylight or even at night before bed. She'd check underneath her bed, in her closet, behind every curtain, and inside every drawer. Her father feared she was looking for monsters at her age, but she couldn't find them.
Yet every night, they gathered close again. "Say the words," they pleaded.
But Sarah didn't know what words to say next.
