Raistlin watched his brother drooling over the well-laid table. To his side, Tanis looked tempted as well.
"We know not the host's intentions," Raistlin reminded the others.
"Must you always jump at the shadows playing on the walls?" Sturm demanded, wanting to sit and eat now that they were out of the storm.
Raistlin arched an eyebrow, leaning on his staff, before stepping pointedly back.
"By all means, prove me wrong, and partake of the mysterious bounty.
"The ground is wet enough to make a grave easier to dig."
"No food not our own," Tanis decreed, to end the argument.
