“Very festive,” Jim Moriarty said walking into his lounge.  He’d left Sebastian Moran to do the decorating and Seb had promised to surprise him.  He had kept his promise.

The tree was covered in baubles of almost every hue imaginable, multi-coloured decorations hung from the ceiling, and tinsel in red, green, gold and silver had been draped over the pictures.

“I wasn’t sure whether it would be more fashionable to have green and gold or blue and silver,” Seb explained.  “So I decided to combine the two, and you can’t go wrong with red at Christmas.”

“You have surpassed yourself.”
