You think… yeah, it’s done.
The coat is heavy. Dense. You have trouble deciding when things are ‘finished’, but this seems as good a time as any to call it. You don’t know what else there is to do, so it must be complete.
Smells like… like wolves, you suppose. Not quite leather, but that’s the closest approximation. You try it on. Fits well. Fits like a second skin.
While you were working, night fell outside. Snow, too. The wolves outside your door are absent for once. You guess they don’t want to end up part of your next project.
