Notes: How kid!Tendou and kid!Ushjima became friends.
Tendou’s first impression of Wakatoshi hadn’t been the best.
He was rude, decidedly not fun and seemed to like volleyballs more than people.
“Do you like any mangas?”, Tendou asked him one day after practice had ended. “Like...Naruto?”
“What’s a Naruto?” Wakatoshi stared at him like he’d grown a second head.
“You don’t know Naruto? Have you been living under a rock?”
All the way back to their dorms, Tendou talked his ear off about the latest twenty volumes.
Wakatoshi didn’t interrupt him once, nor did he call him a weirdo.
It was the start of a wonderful friendship.
