It was a simple error in judgement. They happen. Even to werewolves.

I had enjoyed a marvelous bathe in the river, but having swam a longer period than perceived and coming up on the far bank rather than the near one, I crossed a line which I otherwise would not have crossed.

Beneath the full moon, the pack menaced.

I whined.

Then there came a loud, bright flash which sent the wolves running, giving me time to beat a hasty retreat to safety.

Holmes.

Only a nightwalker could’ve managed such a spectacle.

Packless I may be, lone I am not.
