Title: Not Too Late
Original (or) Fandom: Original
Rating: PG/K+
Notes: I may have been wrong, but it's not too late.
When I found you, I thought I had found everything I could ever want. I thought my prayers were answered, my loneliness was absolved at last. I thought the skies were going to be sunny, our future bright.
But instead you took me to wife, and then you broke me. You broke me again and again, broke my face, broke my bones, broke my very spirit. I am but a shell of the woman I was when we met, but it's not too late.
It's not too late as I leave in this downpour, your shouts ringing in my ears.
The End
