Inuyasha stared at the fluid-filled sphere. "Kagome, what's this thing?"

She grinned, shaking it, and sending flakes swirling through the liquid. "This is a snow globe."

Regarding the object, Inuyasha tilted his head. "What's it for?"

"It's not for anything, really," Kagome explained. "It's a decoration. This one has a music box built in." Turning the snow globe over, she wound a key in its base, and a delicate tune wafted from it.

Inuyasha sniffed. "Seems kinda dumb, if you ask me."

Later, though, Kagome was pleased to find Inuyasha staring in childlike fascination at the little snow globe.

Typical Inuyasha... derisive at first so no one knows he's actually curious, even though Kagome surely wouldn't mind or judge. Definitely something I could see happening, thanks for sharing!
