So kind and generous, Xian Le! So noble-hearted! Spreading his power thinner and thinner, refusing to accept that he can’t save everyone. Running himself ragged, innocently trusting in his people’s love. Not knowing how quickly that love will turn to anger and hate when their crown prince, their god, fails them.

Poor Xian Le. Building his golden foil palaces so carefully, forgetting that it takes only the flick of a fingertip for everything to fall.
