Buffy couldn’t believe that she was about to invite Spike into her home. Spike! She glanced warily to the side, eyeing her bright-haired nemesis who had just become an unexpected ally.
Almost on cue, he returned her glance, looking as uncomfortable as she did about their forced truce. Her head was screaming that she shouldn’t trust him because he was a vampire, but at the same time she felt in her guts that it was the right call.
He’d already proven he’d do anything for Drusilla, so she knew he was dead serious about stopping Angel. Well, here goes nothing.
