“Done!” exclaimed Dawn. “You can open your eyes now.”
Spike gazed with horror at the colorful mess of nail polish at the top of his fingers. “Bollocks. It’s like a soddin’ unicorn threw up on my hands.”
Dawn scoffed. “Everyone wears it like that. It’s the trend!”
“Yeah, everyone aged twelve or less,” he grumbled, reaching for the nail-varnish remover.
Dawn snatched it from him. “Nuh-huh! You must keep that on for a whole week. You lost the bet and those were the terms, remember?”
“Forget it, I’m not going around like this!”
“So? Stay in.”
“You’ll pay for this.”
