Lurking in the shadows of the dark alley, Spike observed the Slayer in action. Luring her out of the Bronze had been almost too easy; as soon as she’d overheard that someone was being attacked, she’d answered to the call of duty, running to fulfill her mission.
The vampire that Spike had set up to be the Slayer’s target would soon be dust, and the more Spike watched, the more he longed to enjoy his own next deadly dance with a Slayer.
He’d only have to wait until Saturday. Then, they’d finally dance together and he’d kill his third Slayer.
