If nothing else, Cleo thought, Leonidas was dedicated to his duty, even if his current duty involved near-endless stirring of a simmering stew-pot. But he was doing it, and not complaining, and also not trying anything too stupid like some of her kitchen help sometimes did.
Honestly, Cleo was almost impressed.
She had forgotten that Xander was part of the next group of helpers she had assigned and well...
There were limits on what she allowed in the kitchens, for an important variety of reasons.
And they both kept toeing that line with absolute precision.
