Loud hollering could be heard coming from the general direction of Babbitt's home. Much of it sounded like "Dolenz" and "kill".
Mike stared at the door, almost expecting an unpleasant visit. "What in the world...?"
"I guess he wasn't wild about the rubber brownies I sent him," Micky mused. "Late April Fool's prank."
"Who would pull an April Fool's prank in July?! Why didn't you do it in April?"
"He would've expected it, then," Micky explained.
"Oh, Mick," Mike groaned. "You might've made a huge mistake."
"But it was funny at the time!"
"Won't be, if we all get evicted!"
