Title: 'Beat'
Fandom: Friends
Rating: G
"Are you okay, Mon," Rachel asked as Monica sagged into Central Perk's sofa. "You look beat."
"I should," Monica sighed, yawning. "I've been up since three this morning, getting ready for Thanksgiving."
"But that's two days away," Rachel protested. "I'd think you'd be mostly done, by now."
"Everything has to be just right, though. And I still haven't bought my perishable groceries. The fresher they are, the better everything's going to taste. Gunther," Monica called to the counter, "bring me some coffee, please? And make it decaf; I need some rest," she feebly groaned. "And maybe one of Phoebe's massages."
