Title: Sufficiently Advanced

Notes: The question "Where does science end and magic begin?" is always an interesting one to look at in fictional worlds where both exist. Now on AO3!
Socks was just beginning to put together a working theory, too.
The tank relied on nuts, bolts, machines with defined purposes, the real, the tangible; physics, which was simply a representation of that self-evident natural phenomena (force equals mass times acceleration, and the Berman tanks received an impromptu physics lesson each hour, it seemed.)
But it also relied on ghosts, and strange voices speaking in an otherworldly language. Sheena spoke it too, when she sat at the cannon’s tactile controls, pulling a lever while chanting and suddenly fire rained from the heavens alongside grapeshot.
Maybe... it was all magic, then.
