I understand everyone’s reasons to protest against my decision to shelter Spike under my roof.
It’s a bold move, I admit.
But something’s been messing with his head, controlling his mind, his actions. And I need to get to the bottom of it before it gets worse. Before this thing sends him after someone I love… I know it will.
I sent everyone away, thinking it’d be easier to get through to him, but he hasn’t uttered a single word in the last hour. He winces when I call his name, but he’s otherwise perfectly still.
Like frozen in shock.
