Rating: PG at most. Angst, and references to Kristen's religious trauma
Notes: I still have so many feelings and thoughts about Kristen in FHJY, and this prompt brought them back up for whatever reason!
Kristen didn’t ask for Riz and Adaine to take control of her academic life, to push her towards class presidency. But hey, she didn’t ask to be Helio’s Chosen, either. At least her friends, they care…
Even if they didn’t ask if Kristen wants this. But then, what is she sure of anymore? Might as well run for class president.
At least it’ll make her friends happy, and she wants that. She wants to be able to do right by somebody. Because lately? All she seems to do is leave a blemish on the story of others with actual potential.
