Bodie doesn't have many regrets. Looking back at his life he sees only decisions made with the best intentions. If later the outcomes were less than desired than so be it. CI5 looms largest in his memories. First he was an agent and then he got to sit in the big chair when Cowley finally gave in and retired.
His one regret is that it took him so long to tell Doyle that he loved him.
"I'm here," Doyle says, a catch in his voice because Bodie is dying and there's not one damn thing he can do about it.
