Viola sat on the corner of Francesco’s desk, drumming her fingers on her crossed legs.
“The only suspect has an alibi?” she asked. “What if it’s fabricated?”
When Francesco didn’t answer, she caught him staring at her miniskirt. Viola smiled, amused. “Francesco, are you listening?”
He blinked, nonchalant. “The alibi… we’re checking it.”
“Is my skirt evidence, Inspector?” she teased.
Francesco crossed the room and closed the door. Then went back to her and kissed her, passionately.
She brushed his shirt. “Isn’t kissing in your office improper workplace behavior?”
“Less improper than what I’d like to do on this desk.”
