That's what Nolun had advised. Like the stupid bull-headed kid he still was at heart, Wein had ignored the first two warnings (In his defence, the duel had been a close thing. Possibly.) and utterly failed at the last.
When he found himself staring up at the points of Emperor Goldark's twin blades, eyes of smouldering amber regarding his new prize, he couldn't even move.
Couldn't think of anything but Goldark and how leaving everything to him would take the pain away.
